The company introduced a custom collection of Huawei Mate XT smartphones on its website, crafted from premium materials such as gold, automotive-grade carbon and crocodile leather. The price is over $ 15 000.

Caviar is a luxury brand known for creating exclusive versions of Apple, Samsung, and Huawei gadgets, combining rare materials with cutting-edge technology. This time, the designers were inspired by the launch of Huawei's new smartphone, which took place on September 10.

The Huawei Mate XT is the world’s first triple-fold smartphone, with pre-orders exceeding all expectations—more than 6 million. Positioned as a premium device, the smartphone comes with a body wrapped in faux leather in two colors—red and black. Caviar’s specialists took it a step further, creating three custom models that are part of the "Rich Colors" collection, distinguished by unusual colors and premium materials like gold, aerospace-grade titanium, automotive-grade carbon, and crocodile leather.

The flagship of the "Rich Colors" collection is the "Gold Dragon". The phone’s body is made from 18-karat gold and adorned with intricate patterns that echo the design of the original Huawei Mate XT camera frame. The history of this texture dates back three millennia to the city of Longquan (Dragon Spring), where the Chinese art of multi-layer sword forging, known for its distinctive surface texture, originated. Caviar expanded on Huawei’s idea and named the custom flagship the "Gold Dragon", immortalizing the ancient Chinese craftsmanship.

The "Black Dragon" model symbolizes the power of Xuanlong, the legendary ruler of all dragons in Chinese mythology. Its body is wrapped in luxurious black crocodile leather, reminiscent of dragon scales, and accented with fine gold-plated details.

These new models are part of the "Rich Colors" collection, whose main concept is to bring new colors into people’s lives and expand the basic device lines with unique hues. In addition to Huawei, the collection includes four models of the iPhone 16 Pro in various colors, also created using premium materials like 24-karat gold and automotive-grade carbon fiber in dark red and purple. There is now even a gold version of the iPhone 16 Pro Desert Titanium—the most popular iPhone 16 model, accounting for 40% of orders.

Prices start at $ 8 840 for the Dark Red and Starry Night models of the iPhone 16 Pro. The most expensive model is the Huawei Mate XT Gold Dragon, priced at $ 15 000.
